Side Scan Module

DeepView side scan module is a complete tool for everything you need at sea for collecting data with our side scan sonars. Here you can set the settings for how you want the sonar to work. During your survey you can record georeferenced data and the DeepView software will present mosaics in the map view. Of course, you can mark interesting objects while you are recording as they appear in the waterfall view during the survey. DeepView side scan module allows you to work with projects consisting of multiple files & markers in a project.

During your work there is a clear interface in the software that shows the area covered by the sonar real time in the chart window. This makes it easy to ensure that no area is missed during the survey. By showing previously recorded data in green while the data that is currently being recorded is shown in red, it is easy to ensure that the overlap is adequate considering the sonar altitude and range. As soon as you finish recording, you can instead have the covered area presented as a mosaic of the sonar data instead or red/green.

If you add a PRO version to your Side Scan Module, you get all the possibilities to post-process

your data and export georeferenced data in a variety of formats. The PRO license also gives you

the possibility to create marker reports in a very smooth way as a summary of the survey.
