CanopyHeight module

DeepView CanopyHeight module is a module intended for measuring the plant height and density in areas. This is usefull in case you have collected downscan data using one of DeepVision Downscan systems, thereafter you use the Canopyheight module to track both the seafloor and the top of the vegetation. This way, you can create clear maps of areas that show where there is vegetation or where there is no vegetation. But the with the Canopyheight module you can also present where the vegetation is densest and highest .

The Canopyheight module is a very popular tool today for environmental monitoring. The module

is used for purposes like mapping eelgrass meadows etc. In many cases, when you are

searching for the presence of a specific species, an effective way to start the survey is to use

sidescan to quickly check for structures that can indicate vegetation. Thereafter you switch

to downscanning and begin mapping the areas with vegetation. The Canopyheight module

completes the work by afterwards determining the height and density of the vegetation.

If you purchase the PRO module, you can also optionally export data in different formats

for further processing or presentation.
