Surface Units Towed Systems

There are two different surface unit options for our towed sonar systems. In the case of using a cable with a length of 150 m or shorter, we recommend the USB variant. Here, both communication and power are carried out via a single USB cable. This makes your sonar system extremely easy to use and portable. Start up your laptop, connect the sonar and GPS and you are ready to start your survey. Very suitable for those who may use different boats at different times and have difficulty meeting the need for external power.

Alternative 2 is the High power surface unit. We recommend this for cables longer than 150m, such as together with our winch and 300m cable. Here there is a USB cable that is connected to the computer and a power cable with an open end that should be connected to a 12 volt power supply.
