Cables on drum

The Kevlar reinforced cable is supplied on a swiveled drum. From the back of the drum, the deck cable is connected to the surface unit with a Fischer connector. The drums are available in two lengths, 100 & 150m. Shorter cables (20m) can be supplied without a drum. The Kevlar cable is soft and flexible to be easy to handle by hand.

We recommend using a prusic knot to attach the cable to a cleat or the railing. Make sure that the cable is attached in such a way that it does not damage the cable or the casing. The cables are supplied with subcon connectors and strain relief at the wet end. The drums are also equipped with a brake to keep things in place during storage.

As standard, the drums are supplied with 5m deck cable.
